Malas, often called prayer beads, are sets of beads on strand traditionally used for prayer and meditation. Every mala is made with a specific spiritualistic number of beads. Wrist Malas are made with 27, 21 or 18 beads and each bead represents a prayer, mantra, or a deep spiritual breath taken. The red symbolizes action, confidence, courage and vitality.
Circumference is about 20 cm (8 inches) with 8mm beads.
